Located at 91st St & Mountain View Rd in the Scottsdale/Shea medical corridor - about a quarter-mile northeast of the 90th St / Pima exit of the 101 Freeway.

I am located in Viva Med Suites. We are located on the South side of Mountain View Medical Plaza on the ground floor of Building A (Suite A-115):

• Use the parking lot entry on 91st St. just South of E Mountain View Rd.

• As you enter, there is a traffic circle facing Honor Health Orthopedics (Buildings B + C), turn Left

• Building A is about 100 yards down and Viva Med Suites is signed on the building

• Park in the dedicated Viva Med Suites parking spaces on the West side of the lot or in any unmarked parking space on either side of the driveway. 

• Follow the paved walkway about 15 feet. The entrance to Viva Med Suites is on the Left (South), before the archway 

• The clinic is opposite side of the Aloe Surgical Center entrance
  

Alternatively, you can approach Viva Med Suites from 91st St & E Via Linda Dr:

• Use the parking lot entry on E San Victor Dr. from 91st St. and remain on Right (Eastern-most) driveway, parallel to 91st St.

• Building A is about 150 yards North of the E San Victor Dr. entrance on the Left (West side) of the lot

• Park in the dedicated Viva Med Suites parking spaces on the Left (West side) of the lot or in any unmarked parking space on either side of the driveway.

• Follow the paved walkway about 15 feet. The entrance to Viva Med Suites is on the Left (South), before the archway 

• The clinic is opposite side of the Aloe Surgical Center entrance

There are four designated sites for Viva Med Suites on the ground level in front of Building A on the West side of the parking lot.

Disabled parking is available in that same row. You can also park in any unmarked space to either side of the lot. 

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am-5pm. I am also available at this location before or after hours by appointment.

Yes. There is disabled parking in front of the office, which is on the ground floor. We have ADA compliant automatic doorways, hallways and restrooms.

Yes. We have two gender-neutral restrooms inside the clinic. Both are wheelchair accessible and have grab-bars to help disabled persons.

I see patients from all over Greater Phoenix, the Valley and the state of Arizona (in person and telehealth).

Our Scottsdale clinic is located near the HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea medical center. Surrounding neighborhoods include McCormick Ranch, Gainey Ranch, Lake Serena/La Privada Scottsdale Ranch, Old Town Scottsdale, Kierland, McDowell Mountain Ranch and DC Ranch.

I also have patients who come to see me from Paradise Valley, Desert Ridge, High Street, Cave Creek, Carefree, Desert Mountain, Troon, Troon North, Rio Verde, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Peoria, Surprise, Arrowhead Ranch and others.

By license, patients must establish with me in-person in Arizona so I can perform a physical examination. After that, hybrid care is okay, and I have video/Zoom or phone appointments regularly.

I do not treat pediatrics (kids <21 years old), gerontology (>80 years old) or oncology (cancer) cases. I have great referrals for these.

No. I do not treat anyone under 21 years old.

Yes. Many people are surprised to learn that licensed naturopathic doctors (NDs) like Dr. Wool can prescribe medications, but their ability to do so depends significantly on the specific state or jurisdiction. In licensed states like Arizona, NDs possess prescription rights and can function as primary care providers.

Yes. We have lab facilities and a medical assistant in the clinic. For blood labs, we most often will order a mobile nurse (phlebotomist) to come to your home or office to perform the draws for your convenience. We also have access to specialty labs, many of which (stool, urine, breath, etc.) we drop ship to your home.

No. Visits are by appointment only. I offer a free 15 minute Discovery Call for new patients.

Yes! Natural medicine respects the individual and is inclusive of all people. One of Dr. Wool's practice specialty is Gay Men's Health.

No. Traditional health insurance does not cover naturopathic doctor visits. You should expect all services in our clinic to be out of pocket.

Insurance may cover some of the routine lab tests, and we can provide a coded superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.

No. Naturopathic doctor fees nor labs are not covered by Medicare.

Yes. We accept Health Saving Account (HSA) debit cards.

No. The practice is cashless (card only). Credit, Debit and HSA cards are welcome.

My Initial appointment fee is $595.

• The first Review of Findings follow-up appointment fee is $295

• Subsequent follow-up appointments are $195

• Initial appointments are up to 90 minutes.
• The first Review of Findings follow-up appointment is 60 minutes.
• Regular follow-up appointments are up to 45 minutes.
• I also invite communication with my patients between visits via text and often I’ll hop on the phone for a few minutes to answer questions or clarify our treatment plan.

Yes. However, our initial visit must be in-person in Arizona by license so I can perform a physical examination. After that, hybrid care is okay, and I have Zoom or phone appointments with my patients regularly.

That gives us flexibility for follow-up care while still meeting the requirements for your first visit.

Yes.

• Get your patient portal (Practice Better) account established. There is a ling "patient login" at the top of this page. 

• Digitally sign all online consent forms and patient questionaires (emailed to you with links). These must be completed 48 hours before your first appointment. That helps us fully prepare for your visit. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of your appointment.

• It is also helpful to upload past labs or doctor notes into the patient portal prior to your visit. This enables your provider to get a better sense of your health history, ask good questions and ensure we don't unnecessarily duplicate lab orders.
