He strives to find and treat the root cause of your condition and supports your body’s natural ability to heal. His objective is to get you feeling well overall, not to suppress symptoms. Dr. Wool likes to set clear expectations with his patients and strives to be 100% transparent. I actually want you well. My ideal patient gets well, comes back for an annual wellness exam, and tells me how great they’re doing. If you needed legal advice, you’d retain a lawyer. If you needed your car serviced, you’d hire a mechanic. But somehow there’s a resistance to making an investment in one’s health. DAN ## Frequently Asked Questions about working with Dr. Wool What does an Initial Appointment cost? My Initial appointment fee is $595. What does a Follow-up Appointment cost? The first Review of Findings follow-up appointment fee is $295. Regular follow-up appointments are $209. Do you accept health insurance? No. Traditional health insurance does not cover naturopathic doctor visits. You should expect all services in our clinic to be out of pocket. Insurance MAY cover some of the routine lab tests and we can provide a coded superbill for your to submit to your insurance company. Do you accept Medicare? No. Naturopathic doctor fees and lab fees are NOT covered by Medicare. What is the total ballpark cost to see you? It depends on the complexity of the case. Because insurance does not cover fees from naturopathic doctors, all costs are out of pocket. In the case of Dr. Dan Wool, the fee for an initial visit is $495; labs might average about $400 with some specialty labs costing more when needed; follow-up appointments are $195-295. Medications, supplements and treatments are some of the associated costs as well. Dr. Wool counsels people to budget about $2,000 of investment in the first 90 days with the caveat that expenses tend to be "front-loaded" (i.e. higher) at the early, investigative stages of care - and go down from there. Dr. Wool sees any money spent as an investment in your health and he focuses on getting you well quickly so health expenses are lower for the long term. Do you accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA)? Yes. We accept Health Savings Account (HSA) debit cards. Do you accept cash? No. The practice is cashless (card only). Credit, Debit and HSA cards are welcome. How long is a typical appointment? - Dr. Wool's Initial appointments are up to 90 minutes. - The first Review of Findings follow-up appointment is 60 minutes. - Regular follow-up appointments are up to 45 minutes. - I offer a free 15 minute Discovery Call I also invite communication with my patients between visits via text and often I’ll hop on the phone for a few minutes to answer questions or clarify our treatment plan. Do you practice telehealth / online appointments? Yes. However, our initial visit must be in-person in Arizona by license so I can perform a physical examination.
