## Location Questions

Where are you located?

Dr. Dan Wool is located at:

Chambers Clinic 20801 N. Scottsdale Rd #205 Scottsdale, AZ 85255

Located in Grayhawk / North Scottsdale - about a mile north of the 101 Freeway.

Is there an elevator to the 2nd floor?

Yes. It is located next to the stairwell, in front of the veterinary clinic.

Is the office wheelchair accessible?

Yes. There is disabled parking in front of the office. There is an elevator to our 2nd floor office and we have ADA compliant doorways, hallways and restrooms.

Where is the best place to park?

There are four designated sites for Chambers Clinic on the ground level in front (east) of the clinic. Disabled parking is available in that same row. If these spaces are full, there is usually ample parking and paved disabled-accessible pathways around the shopping center.

Are there restrooms on site?

Yes. We have 3 gender-neutral restrooms in the clinic. All are wheelchair accessible and have grab-bars to help disabled persons.

Where do I find your office within Grayhawk Plaza?

I am located in Chambers Clinic. We are on the Northeast side of Grayhawk Plaza on the 2nd Floor (Suitre #205).

From the Scottsdale Rd. driveways, we're across from (east of) Chipotle.

From the Grayhawk Rd. driveway, we are 50 yards south of Parma Italian Roots restaurant above the Animal Hospital at Grayhawk veterinary clinic and north of the Honor Health Oncology &amp; Gastroenteorlogy offices.

The clinic is next door to Dentistry at Grayhawk.

What are your office hours?

Mondays through Thursdays from 9am-5pm and on Fridays from 9am-2pm. I am also available at this location before or after hours by appointment.

Which neighborhoods do you serve?

I see patients from all over Greater Phoenix, the Valley and the state of Arizona. Our North Scottsdale clinic is located in the Grayhawk neighborhood.

Surrounding neighborhoods include Cave Creek, Carefree, Desert Mountain, Troon, Troon North, DC Ranch, McDowell Mountain Ranch, Desert Ridge, High Street, Paradise Valley. Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler Gilbert, Peoria, Surprise, Arrowhead Ranch and Rio Verde.

## Practice Questions

What are your specialities?

Gastroenterology from a naturopathic perspective, hormones and men’s health.

Do you treat out-of-state patients?

By license, patients must establish with me in-person in Arizona so I can perform a physical examination. After that, hybrid care is okay, and I have Zoom or phone appointments regularly.

Are there conditions you do not treat?

I do not do pediatrics (kids &lt;21 years old) or oncology (cancer). I have great referrals for these.

Do you treat children?

No. I do not treat anyone under 21 years old.

Do naturopathic doctors prescribe medications?

Yes. Many people are surprised to learn that licensed naturopathic doctors (NDs) like Dr. Wool can prescribe medications, but their ability to do so depends significantly on the specific state or jurisdiction. In licensed states like Arizona, NDs possess prescription rights and can function as primary care providers.

Can naturopathic doctors order blood labs?

Yes. There is a full blood lab in the clinic. We also have access to specialty labs.

Do you take walk-in patients?

No. Visits are by appointment only. I offer a free 15 minute Discovery Call for new patients.

Is the practice LGBTQ+ friendly?

Yes! Natural medicine respects the individual and is inclusive of all people. One of Dr. Wool's practice specialty is Gay Men's Health .

## Pricing & Payment Questions

Do you accept health insurance?

No. Traditional health insurance does not cover naturopathic doctor visits. You should expect all services in our clinic to be out of pocket.

Insurance may cover some of the routine lab tests, and we can provide a coded superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.

Do you accept Medicare?

No. Naturopathic doctor fees nor labs are not covered by Medicare.

Do you accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA)?

Yes. We accept Health Saving Account (HSA) debit cards.

Do you accept cash?

No. The practice is cashless (card only). Credit, Debit and HSA cards are welcome.

What does an Initial Appointment with Dr. Wool cost?

My Initial appointment fee is $495 .

What does a Follow-up Appointment with Dr. Wool cost?

The first Review of Findings follow-up appointment fee is $295

Subsequent follow-up appointments are $209 .

## Appointment Questions

How long is a typical appointment?

Initial appointments are up to 90 minutes.

The first Review of Findings follow-up appointment is 60 minutes.

Regular follow-up appointments are up to 45 minutes.

I also invite communication with my patients between visits via text and often I’ll hop on the phone for a few minutes to answer questions or clarify our treatment plan.

Do you offer telehealth or Zoom appointments?

Yes. However, our initial visit must be in-person in Arizona by license so I can perform a physical examination. After that, hybrid care is okay, and I have Zoom or phone appointments with my patients regularly.

That gives us flexibility for follow-up care while still meeting the requirements for your first visit.

Do I need anything before my first visit?

Yes. All online consent forms must be signed and the patient questionnaire must be completed 48 hours before your first appointment. That helps us prepare for your visit.

Failure to comply may result in cancellation of your appointment.
